SUV
The SUV a.k.a Sports Utility Vehicle on the other hand come with rugged looks and are capable of off-roading. These generally come with either All Wheel Drive (AWD) and 2-wheel drive options and have powerful engine with higher torque. The fuel-efficiency on these cars are generally not a primary concern. SUVs are offered in Mini SUVs, Mid-Sized SUVs, Premium SUVs etc. SUVs may offer body-roll when driven at high speeds but offer excellent road grip in toughest road conditions.
MPV
MPV is a minivan which has capability to carry larger number of people, SUVs with 3rd row seating may be considered as a MPV. The MPVs are taller, have average boot-space and offer comfortable seating for 6 or more passengers. Has mild body roll but offers good comfortable ride without compromising on safety.
MUV
MUV stands for Multi Utility Vehicle example Tata Sumo,Mahindra Bolero etc which can be used for both passengers and luggage. SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle meant for usage in all road conditions like level road,uneven roads,hilly areas, etc. Example Skoda Yeti,Mahindra XUV 500 etc.
